PROFESSOR ROTHERHAM
The living legend prof. dr. Roland Rotherham will of course be present again at the EFF. This time he will focus his talks on the mysterious sides of old Egypt.
In his first lecture:
the Ark of the Covenant
he will explore the making and housing of The Ark and how the relationship between Moses and Ramasses caused the relic to be made. Roly will show you its history, power and final vanishing from the sight of man. "Does it still exist? Can it still wield its awesome power?"

His second talk is called “from Pharaohs to Stars”.
In this one the professor will explore the process of the death of a pharaoh and how their passing will turn their immortal souls into constellations in the heavens. "Why was the monarch considered to be a living God? How was the soul prepared to ascend into the skies?"

On Saturday only, as an introduction to Christopher Paolini, the professor will have a short talk of 15 minutes, looking at how the dragon has become entrenched in the world of fantasy literature. You will hear of Smaug, Fafnir and Siegfried as well as Eragon's Saphira.

The space in the chapel and new safety conditions force us to put a quotum on the amount of people in the chapel this year. Therefore you will have to subscribe (for free) at the info stand for the lectures of professor Rotherham. Only the people who subscribed will be allowed to enter. this will be checked by ID (passport, ID card, driver's license). We apologize for this inconvenience.

ABE DE VERTELLER
Abe de Verteller celebrates his anniversary at the Elf Fantasy Fair!
For the tenth consecutive year he tells his chilling, horrifying, intense and sometimes romantic and charming stories. He does this with all his passion and rapture, with his heart and his hands, until the bitter end ...

He loves to play with the audience. To make them laugh or make them move. In this year he added his 250th story to his repertoire and the end is nowhere near.
This year his stories deal with the theme of Egypt and the Middle East. Except capricious egyptian gods, brooding stories from 1000- and 1 night, the creation by the sumerians, the oldest known story of the world and much more... www.abedeverteller.nl
